Great Pond Wilderness Lodge
& Sporting Cabins

Great Pond is a remote and secluded paradise for the entire family! All of the cabins are located looking out over the lake. They can sleep one to twelve people, and are furnished with a woodstove, gas cooking stove, gas lights, gas refrigerator, a gas grill and all cooking and eating utensils. Sleeping bags, blankets and pillows are not provided. All of the cabins are serviced by a clean and sanitary central shower and toilet. It may seem like miles from anywhere, but it is easily accessable by float plane or vehicle.

The cabins are surrounded by thousands of acres that are owned by different paper companies, each having their own lumber cutting practices. Also surrounding the cabins is state owned land that hasn't seen a chain saw for years. The avid deer hunter can hunt along a hard wood ridge in the morning and still have plenty of clear cut area for the afternoon. All this gives the hunter a variety of terrain to cover. Moose are a common site, and many times guest awaken to see moose feeding in the shallow water near the river inlet. We are located in the Southeastern Zone for moose hunting. Whether you come to hunt, fish or just vacation this is the place the whole family can enjoy!
